Well all I can tell you.......if you don't want another hobby don't go even once. You'll be hooked for sure. My biggest Buffalo is 63#. Biggest gar is over 6ft just under 190#. We have shot up to 200 trash fish in one night. Thats' lots of shootn'goin on!

Yeah that's just the one I shot...ourlake record is 200# over 7ft.
The Trinity River in our area produces them much bigger than that.
You don't see many like that anymore.....you got her lookn' good!
My granddad gave me an ole 50's model 2hp Firestone that he said blew up on he and his brother in a storm one day. With a 2hp a simple breeze would be a storm.
Anyway I took the head off and it had blown the gasket, so I made a new and put it back together. Pulled it twice and it fired up. My granddad eyes lit up like a little kid, he remember going all over Sam Rayburn with that ole thing. Reverse meant to spin it around 180 degrees.
The troll motor on my bass boat was faster than that thing.....but he loved it.
