Before you start this,you must know which video driver you are using for the game, example: Direct 3D Support, Software Rendering, OpenGL Support.
Start the game and go to: TOOLS >SYSTEM CONSOLE Type in: preferences then hit enter.
This opens the Advanced Options window Look for "Rendering" and expand it by clicking the + sign. Now look for the video driver you are using(examples above) and expand it by clicking the + sign.
Scroll down till you see: "HighDetailActors" There are 2 settings for this, make sure that it is set to "TRUE".
Once you have set it to TRUE,you can close the window and go try the gun on the server. This should fix it and the black box should be gone.
